No, the term "sheep" only applies to non-Rothfans. Even though and now those fuckers (mostly cos they've never been able to come up with any original material of their own) like to use the same term to describe our fanbase.
Basically, once you've read this whole thread like I just have, there's but one thing about this upcoming tour as far as the Michael Anthony issue, IMHO: the band is not CVH. Then, you buy your ticks or you don't.
The rest, however worth it is being considered, now belongs to history, as Dave himself said in LA last week.
Whatever appears in the songwriting credits, if it wasn't legally agreed, is nothing that can't be fixed by law.
And... considering M. A. as the absolute righteous guy who was shamefully robbed of his goods is a mistake, just as, on the contrary, throwing him to the trash.

If I offered you a t-shirt, and you bought it...it's not my fault that you bought it. If MA signed away his rights to the catalogue, then he made a conscious decision to do it no matter what any of us think.
Ya'll act like MA is some poor defenseless, ignorant bafoon who should've consulted you before he did what he did. If he didn't get a call from Ed in reference to this endeavor, there's a reason Ed didn't have to.
It's a business folks. And honestly, Mike may be happier where he is. I hope so. I've never had a bad thought about Mike and still don't. But he's a grown man who can make his own decisions.

MA has taken his shots over the years at dave. I think its pretty funny what theu did to the covers. they are just images and it wont erase what he did with the band over the years.
still, I say take the shots at MA. he made his choice.

And the article is about "Van Halen," and the last time I checked, this is the Main Van Halen/David Lee Roth Discussion Forum.
If you people such cowards you can't discuss unpleasant facts, then don't click on the thread...
Okay Nick.
I've never had a problem with you, but now you're heading into GAY territory.

Arguing over songwriting credits is really silly, because anyone with two brain cells to rub together knows that neither Mike or Alex ever wrote a fucking note.
Had all four actually been involved in the songwriting, then the music would not have changed as drastically when Dave left and the Ched Rocker took over.
Van HALEN songs were written by David Lee Roth & Eddie Van Halen. end of story.

Are you trying to tell us that Alex didn't write the drum parts? And don't give me any BS about how the drums are dependant on the guitar. What about all the fills, drum licks, etc.? who wrote those.
Are you saying Alex didn't write the intro to HFT?

*ahem, sorry...
In case you didn't notice, the article was an official media piece on Van Halen, specifically spEd.
And I'll pretty much call them out on it every time...
And the only thing that's "gay" here is peoples' inability to handle or comprehend that.
Dave being back with them entitles them to nothing. Not a free pass, not an Eddie-suck-dick moment you seem so intent on...
Alright dude. Whatever.
That is ONE media piece that very select few news sites have been posting.
Most news sites (if not all) are carrying the story on the sell out shows and additional dates. You're just trying to draw more attention to this Mike thing. No seriously. I mean, didn't you just post the same news snippet at DDLR.com as well???
A little obsessed are we?
Seems to me that the one who's 'sucking it' is you.....and bass player is on the receiving end.
The songwriting credit is a silly argument anyway, as many here have already mentioned. Some of you act as though you witnessed the whole songwriting process for "Panama", right from first riff to lyric to melody to eventual demo.

Holy shit! Get those articles posted in here, stat!

I'm trying to draw attention to the fact that I think Ed is a dick...

We, or you?

You pulled your face out of Edwards asshole for long enough to notice?

What I witnessed was that Anthony is credited for the song, as was the rest of the band. And now, they want to erase him from the legacy of Van Halen.
I think that's sort of shitty, especially since he probably has done more writing-wise than Alex ever did.
It's about something called principals. I'm pretty sure you have none since it's apparent that you're pretty easily bought off, since I know if the sisters hadn't reunited with Dave, you'd be slinging shit at them in this thread as hard as anybody.

Looks like Douglas pinned it though. It'll most likely be at the Ampitheater. I'd rather it be at the Ice Palace but as long as they get here I'll be a happy camper. If I hear anything sooner I'll let ya know on here.
Yes, try to keep me in mind if you can, in terms of shooting me a message prior to if/when tix go on sale.
Would prefer the Ice Palace myself as well, because traffic getting into and out of the Ford Ampitheater should VH 2007/2008 play there would be ridiculous.
