Yes. They're certainly undeveloped and have some weaknesses in lacking the spontaneity and jester-like feel of CVH. The reason (and I suspect one of the reasons that they won't play those songs) is that there's a lot of tension there. Dave is obviously slamming Ed in MWM and the band in "Can't Get This..."Comment

Dave 's voice is what make's those two songs work. Otherwise, nothing that special though MWM is by far the best of the two. What really ruins them for me is the pointlessly long, Fagar era intro and ending guitar noise.WTF?[Comment

I like "Can't Get This Stuff No More" better, it sounds more like CVH and it has realy crazy groves in it. Eddies rhythm playing and timing are always overlooked....I guess you have to be a musician to get it.
Humans Being is better than either of the Roth tunes on that album though.-We have enough youth. How about a fountain of "Smart"?

Dave looked a bit embarrassed when the songs were mentioned.
