I am judging only by what I have witness firsthand several times and saw on bootlegs.

My opinion on what I heard is what it is. Dave cannot sing anymore. It is not a slam. He shredded his voice over years of kick-ass vocals. He is a great entertainer and a role nmodel for me for lots of reasons. That doesn't change my opinion, wich is based on what I have seen.

I am going to the show because I want to see Dave and EVH, and because of my respect for DLR.

I did not buy a 5-star.

Dave sounds like shit and has since 1993. This is the fact. It is not a slam.

This has NOTHING to do with my admiration for DLR and his inluence in my life. Mostly due to his attitude and kick-ass approach to living. His amazing vocals and entertainment ability are secondary.

Dave has my utmost respect. That's why I visit this site. This does not change the fact he has killed his voice over years of entertaining us all. And he still tries hard and pursues is love of music and performing.

So yeah. I'm going. Cuz I respect DLR and want to support him and see him achieve his dream of playing with EVH and AVH again.

You have a odd perspective on things. There are only a handful of people not going here and it is mainly a "not a real reunion" issue with them. That's fine if that's the way they feel. I hardly think it's selfish or a lack of respect if anyone decides not to attend a concert.

I also haven't heard anyone saying they are not going because of Dave's voice. You are the only one dissing that.

Whether Dave sounds like shit as nothing to do with my respect an admiration for him.

He is the greatets vocalist and entertainer of alltime, he has a phenomenol outlook on life, he pursues his dreams and kicks ass while doing it, and inspires me. He killed his voice while doing what he loves, and entertaining millions of fans while at it.

He DESERVES my support. I hope he sounds great. If not, I will be there anyway and will support DLR.
