Love for Ed is great but lets not bash Vai...Any legitimate guitar player who listens to all the great players will tell you that the only reason Vai is not on the top of the list is that he is not a singer too...or never had a huge band of his own with a guy olike Dave cirxca 1978...I saw video of Vai this year playing live....there is really no comparison between he and ed....ed really never matured past 5150....vai is a friggin virtuoso of all styles...took eds style and blasted it through hte ununiverse
