Fox Sports does not really use all those DLR era tracks as bumpers for NASCAR and the NFL games....

Nor, does Rush Limbaugh use DLR EEAS SOLO tracks daily as bumpers on his show, often mentioning Dave by name coming back from a break...

Oh, and all those mainstream print articles bemoaning the fact that its Sam and not Dave fronting this sham of a "reunion" were never published either.

Besides this site (spam's comments) , I am sure Van Halen has gotten a few e-mails from fans (Al's comment re on-line requests) who would like to see them reunite with Dave, who do not think it is right for them to release a live "Dave" song performed by Spam, etc. I have seen copies of one or two other people have written to them posted here; and I know I myself have sent them one or two e-mails letting them know my feelings on what they are doing. Not everything everone says in this forum is sneaky underhanded backstabbing that we wouldn't have the guts to say to them ourselves. I have a perfectly verifiable e-mail address, but there are those who hide behind anonimity and use hot mail addresses etc. that detract from the credibilty of on line sources.

I didn't think those articles were to bad as far as Dave was concerned. As a matter of fact, if he didn't get mentioned at least once I would have had my feelings hurt-you know, "How dare they pretend like Dave never existed!" Dave may be gone but he will never be forgotten. If spam were out and Dave were in you wouldn't hear Spam's name being mentioned.
