I'm intrigued about this style of Sam's singing. It's his screeching that ruins the Van Hagar rockers for me. If he'd have used this lower register for IAT, I'd probably come close to enjoying it.

Hey Fellas,

Please don't bash me for being a newbie, lurker or Sammy fan. I am a VAN HALEN fan, all eras, even 3, but I am a REAL VAN HALEN fan first. I have never posted on this site before but come here alot just to read others. After hearing the boot of UNCHAINED, I had to say something. I am going to 3 VH shows this summer and was excited to hear that the band was going to do more classic VH, but after hearing UNCHAINED, I'm not so sure they should. I was just on the Atomic Punks site and think it would be cool to have them open for VH if we can't have Dave back. That way we could have classic VH done right and then new VH. Like I said, I've never posted here and post once in a while at the forums, but that performance was pitiful! Hope they get the kinks out before I see them next month.

I don't think there's a chance in hell they'd ever let the Atomic Punks open for them. Imagine being blown away by a tribute act night after night. It would be embarressing. Mind you, it already is.
