Agreed...I felt the same way, I started a thread entitled Dave, Dave, and more Dave. Noone had much to say. I don't care what we talk about, what is he doing, what do you think he should be doing, whats your favorite thing that he has done. No one wanted to post though

He was also fired twice after that. 96 he got screwed, and in 2000 he was used for his lyrical contributions for what Ed is selling now. He might have quit ONCE, but Ed's been a quitter his whole life. And what about Sam? Did Sam quit too? Im interested in your opinion on Sam's departure.

Sam got fired when he wouldnt put up with the band and thier bullshit anymore. They have admitted to hiring the wrong manager and listening to his advice. Sammy, like Dave, fell victim. But people move on. Some people anyways,.

Come on, even if I started a thread it would go shit in 2 seconds. Id be called a sheep, etc. Its pretty hard to come here and talk classic vh when no-one cares to talk about it other than how gay van hagar is.

Daved moved on and seems to be having a great time! Have you
seen the Hamptons pics from GS?? Dave has toured consistently,
and put out some great music independantly.

Oh Jesus Christ, now you are saying that because of management, at the time, Sam was fired and became a victim of circumstance and polotics along with Dave? Right. There is a hint of truth to what you speak, but my friend, you live in shades of grey- Look for the color. The color is green and its got all the presidents on them. Thats why the band is back together now. Especially with Sam. Sam is a push over. Ed tells Sam, "do this, on this song" and Sam says "Ok Ed, whatever you want". But if it were Dave.. "Hey Dave, do this on this song". "Well, I dunno Ed, I could do that, but I could add a little bit of this." See the difference? Sam fans call dave difficult to work with. We call it creativity. Thats what Van Halen is lacking now. Totally uncreative.

I'll sticky it, if it is directed at a real attempt to jump-start a conversation about Classic Van Halen. LSD has nothing to talk about regarding classic van halen, other than, "yeah I like the first six ablums, they were cool" that would be it. I want to see if LSD is a real fan of both ears like he claims, or if he's just another shit disturber like I predict.
