In fact just listen to DLR Band compared to old VH shit....it's fucking embarrassing....
Before I always said I always liked Van Halen with David Lee Roth. Now I have to say I like Van Halen with David Lee Roth & Michael Anthony. It's just too much!

I don't need to listen to boots, I was there for the real thing.

Dave sounded great last tour, much better than he sounded in '02.

Dave's voice is not as strong as it was in the 80's...so what...it's called "aging"...

Even Pavarotti lost a bit in the end...Dave can still pull his weight...he nailed some songs better live then he ever did in the past. He wanted to prove somthing and did well. Can he do a record? Sure...

Will I buy it? Bet your ass...

That means Twinkies and Ding Dongs will be on the rider.

If Wolfie is permanent in the bad the junk food companies are going to make a fortune off the next tour. Anything with brown frosting will result in the dressing room being trashed.

Its clear to me that you are not much of a fan by what you say cuz you dont know what the fuck your talking about other then Dave fronting VH.

Watch live youtube clips old and new. Dave does just fine now if not in some cases even better.

I will say compared to when I saw the band in 1984, Dave 2008 was actually singing a significant amount of the verse lyrics to every tune being played onstage.

From what I saw a year ago, Roth did just fine live with the band. He showed up fit and ready to sing. Can he hit all the screams he did in 1981? Nope. But he was far from embarrassing. Matter of fact, he sounded much better in 2008 than he did in 2002, 2004 or 2005 to these ears.

                          Fat Mullet

Fat Mullet Anthony, will never return to the band, he is hated by the brothers and Dave, more than they hate Hagar!
The final nail in the coffin, for the Two Faced Pig, was when he taunted Ed/Al by not turning up at their mother`s funeral. That was low!

I've been waiting 25 years for the ultimate VH precursor to WW3 and some of you jokers think it's funny because they were 40% successful of their ultimate potential with Mike, as opposed to 18% success with Sammy and I totally disagree.

My proof will be when you see Mike back in and the tour does $200 million. If they can keep separate corners with Roth to make it work they can do the same with Mike.

Otherwise, we're up 1 vocalist but down 1 too.

.. and who give a flying fuck if he's a traitor recording with Sammy when he's been betrayed time and again in all those other dealings with the brothers since 96? What would you expect / what would you do in this situation?

Mike's in = I'm in. The only permanent thing about Wolf is he's his fathers' kid, and has the same last name but he's not "in" Van Halen because he HASN'T FUCKING RECORDED NOTHIN
I wouldn't go as far as you. Something is better than nothing.

I mean if you want sex with your wife and she says you can only suck one tit, are you going to go without?

But, yeah Mike needs to be back in the band to make it a true re-union.

What the hell is Ed's problem with Mike anyway? Readers Digest version please.

                              How 'bout a cue card?

Mike didn't want to wait for Ed's call...
Why settle for something you have, if it's not as good as something you're out to get?

That's more like a baseball card. A little more please. Someone on these boards wrote it started at Fair Warning. That was only 3 years after their first album. Why was Ed pissed at Mike at such an early stage? Are there any quotes from Ed about this? Has Ed denied it? Has Mike said anything?
