The premise of the thread sucks balls.

There is no "reunion" on the table.

There has not been a "reunion" since '96.


There most certainly isn't a "reunion" for Dave to decline.

If he rejoined the the sisters and Wolfie for an album or
tour it could be considered a reunion.
Maybe that's what he meant.
On the last tour he did reunite with Ed and Al.
It just wasn't a CVH reunion.

My answer to the question of the thread is: No one. No one can replace Dave in VH. If it was a different project, I'd like to hear what Ed could write with Dave King (Flogging Molly/Fastway). It would definitely be different.
