Yeah, that was a great time for sure... and no, unfortunately we had to split up a couple of months ago... she's getting a PhD in Southern Illinois and I'm trapped in South Florida... I, like everyone else here, cannot sell my goddamn condo and she won't be done for about another 3 years. It sucks, we were together for almost 5 years...

that sucks, dude, she seemed pretty cool.

to the original question, I suppose the fact that I bought tix for the first two nights spoke to my confidence that it would last....

of course, opening night being within a 4 hour drive sure didn't hurt.

it was an expensive few months there, but I wouldn't trade any of the 6 nights. sure, it wasn't perfect, but there was a bit of magic there.

opening night for the pure history of it, and night #2 in Greensboro, for the people I got to meet, are lifetime memories......

the day before the show... I was going to go...
But family matters......... matters
