The way I heard it, they guy was a plumbing contractor who up to a few years ago, was never around.

You had to make an appointment to see the guy, so he could figure a time to show up and let you in.

In what way: "you can look but don't touch" or "show me the money first before I let you in" kinda deal?

I spoke to the rep at Kaman about his joker, I said "what's the fucking deal with all these internet-based socalled "dealers" claiming or being assigned territory in Riverside... when their physical address isn't even a retail operation?"

Now granted, I've never been there, but in talking to different people you come away with the same cuntclusion about Wild West Guitars: they're just a cutthroat dealer, and-or an irregular seller.

Things were very, very different when the Kaman distributor was the other way around: Coast Music Supply sold Kaman, then got bought BY Kaman, to become Kaman Dist. in a weird turn.. and the one head guy I knew back then would give a shit and turn out a shady dealer.

GAR, who at kaman industrial technology did you speak to and at which branch?
i ask because i know several people that work for kaman in the inland empire
            at several different branches.

Coast became Kaman about 10 years ago, the Coast guy who managed the joint was a middle-eastern guy think his name was Mo.

They moved from Commerce to Riverside, out by you off the 15 where all the new fake looking palm trees got planted. Are they calling themselves "industrial technology" and not Kaman Music Dist.?

I've been inside the new joint, it's like 129,000 square feet. But not since Fender bought Kaman.

Fender stuck a few of their other companies in that location, I think they got Squire Hamer and Groove Tubes departments there now.

                      off the 15?
that would be the corona branch, and it's gone.
kaman consolidated it's inland empire locations.

so corona and pomona merged with the ontario branch.

my former bassist john corder ran the corona store, and is now in ontario at the wherehouse, which is off of the 10, but not far from the 15.
it's on airport drive, near ontario int'l airport.

however, the colton branch, where my good buddy jim karnes, who was also in corona, is now working in the colton branch, which is on la cadena, just
inside the san bernardino county line, right on the side of the 215 freeway.

la cadena cross over the 215 just south of the colton store,
                      and turns into iowa street.
the freeway overpass is the san bernardino-riverside county line, and also riverside city limit.

                      close enough.

You need to look at it in our point of view, for those of us who've seen VH rumors come and go on this message board for 10 years now....

You recently registered and your only two posts are in this thread.... Not a deal breaker in itself, but in our experience, brings up red flags for suspicion....

One more thing, you list your location as New York, but Moderators such as myself can easily see that that's not an accurate location.... Maybe you moved recently, who knows, just sayin', another possible red flag....

So welcome, but understand when we are very hesitant when it comes to people posting rumors....

Understandable Va. Like I said in my first post, this is just what I was told never meant it to stated as fact the only fact is that was said to me. As far as my location, no it isn't New York and since you can see my location that also tells you it is where I stated I talked to him at. I have been here a long time reading threads just never had anything to post before, I have been registered at the Links since 1999 so I have been around awhile just like to read and don't really care alot about posting. This was just some news I thought people here would be interested in. Happy New Year to all Army!
