Ed's interview with Toni Iommi in Guitar World was quite revealing in terms of Ed's feelings about releasing new music. Toni had almost the same feeling. In short, Ed said something like... "we released a few new songs on the Best of Both Worlds, and nobody gave a shit. we played the songs live and got no response from the audience but they went apeshit over the old songs. we have no record company. so why should we spend our hard earned money to release a new album if nobody cares? and the record business isn't what it used to be."

So there is a Wolfgang Van Halen on Facebook. He is claiming to be real and has alot of believers. I am trying to call his BS. I asked him about new record. He said "My lips are sealed" He also says There is gonna be a "big surprise on the new album with a special guest". I have been drilling him alot. Get on there and see for yourself.

If there's gonna be a dvd release, am hoping it won't just be the US Fest (easily one of THE most heavily 'video bootlegged' and accessible CVH shows)...unless the party scenes filmed prior to the concert date and inserted into the live feed to make the party look 'real time spontaneous-like' and a whole shitload of extras were thrown in.

Although just about ANYTHING CVH-related other than another greatest hits cd or another bit of guitar gear with an EVH logo stamped on it would be good at this point...
