Thanks or the explination, but to be honest there is quite a bit of post 85' stuff that i do like. It just seems a bit childish that groan men, fathers with children are hurling abuse at people that like both eras, it is not that much of a big deal.

Allow me to expand on that just a little bit...

There was a time when VH was the genuine article. The real deal. Top of the Rock and Roll food chain.

Then, it happened. They changed. They weren't what they used to be, yet some folks who seemed to have hopped on the 1984 bandwagon refused to get off. They are usually the ones that didn't notice. They kept following. Hence the sheep references. In other words, anything Ed did post Roth was acceptable.

For me it was not. For many of us it was absolute cheesy, top 40 shite. Soulless. Empty. No stones.

But so long as Ed worked the fretboard, the sheep welcomed the singing clown in women's pants. Ed's new "brother" was instrumental in fucking VH up, just as Ed was.I don't give him a pass just because of who he is, or what he's accomplished on the guitar.


If you don't get it yet, at least you know what you can expect from me in the future, if you try and defend that....that...post-Roth garbage.

Those tracks on A Little... haven't dated that well and are kinda weak.
