I already have the mini Les Paul. Great guitar? No. But definitely fun to fuck around with and when people see it sitting there they are always drawn to it first.
I tried a few of them out, and bro, they really are awkward little axes. They are surprisingly top heavy, even for a lightweight guitar. So you are always fiddling with the strap. The neck isn't really as ergonomic as some of the other mini guitars I've played, and that goofy body shape makes playing while sitting nearly impossible without requiring some yoga and stretching exercises. Seriously, there was a reason these guitars bombed, and I just gave the few that came instantly to mind. Try one out before you buy one, or at least make sure you don't spend more than 50 bucks on it. At least you'll have a spare cheesy amp, along with some odds and ends parts-wise to show for it.

That's exactly what I feared. Ed won't even be involved and it will be another guitarist INTERPRETING how to play Ed's riff - and probably doing it incorrectly. That's what usually happens.

If it were actually Ed showing us how he really played everything, I'd buy it.
