            There is absolutely no real or "good" reason why this band doesn't have a cd released. Ed's thumb or hand issue? Honeymoons. Graduations. All that can still go on when u release a fuckin' cd.

            I can't wait until Roth is able to speak about this.

            Im guessing it's all insecurity issues with Ed. Meanwhile the last commercially released material was over a decade ago!? God damn waste of time. (no Zen here)

                    The main point of interest there, in my view, is that Live Nation is representing to Triumph that Van Halen will tour next year. Since Live Nation put on VH's last tour, they would know if something was up.
                    I think with the tidbits coming out from John 5, Zappa, and considering Dave's sabatical this adds up to something big. I mean, Dave being in hiding still speaks volumes to me.
                    I agree 100% Starwood may be right, and Dave might not have been in the studio for quite some time, however who knows what was laid down prior to June 09. We do know that 4 or 5 tunes were laid down, possibly completed in 2000. If the band doesn't tour until next summer, then the album probably doesn't need to be in the can until the end of this year. Maybe they are working through a bunch of stuff and plan on bringing Dave back late this year, who knows? But I agree with sonrisa totally that Dave not speaking says it all to me too.
