Van Hagar Fans mystery.

As a fan of Original Van Halen from day one to the present as a Dave fan. I have pondered about this one issue. Why do you Van Halen (Van Hagar fans I mean) fans support Van Hagar? If you did not support Van Hagar in 1985 and if Van Hagar failed the VH brothers would have been forced to take Dave back. By giving Van Hagar your money is telling Van Hagar and the music industry HEY VAN HAGAR IS OKAY and I DO NOT CARE ABOUT ORIGINAL VAN HALEN.

My question is why do you WANT bologne sandwiches when you can have PRIME RIB? Why don't you want the best? It is like going to a bar and seeing a beautiful woman that could be in Playboy magazine
and you know you can have her but instead you take an average to UGLY girl. Why do you Van Hagar fans do this?

They've just given up hope. Hopefully our little support group here can bring a little light to their lives and show them the path that greatness must follow. With time, patience and belief in rock stars greater than ourselves, even the most devoted Van Hagar fan can be cured of this malady. well five i also was a fan from day 1 . it would not kill me if dave got the job. that would have been great shit. 2 see him back . on the other hand i am a huge vh fan. ed and dave just dont see eye 2 eye on things. if dave was back the band would split up again. so as much as i like dave vh is still better.

they don't know what they want they just do this ( being van hagar fans) cuz they don't have nothin' better to do , their miserable lifes don't give them more than that , being van hagar fans is the best thing they could do , n' that makes them blind so they can't see the good things like THE ORIGINAL VAN HALEN WITH DAVE .

I think the answer is this:

For several years after Dave left the Sisters and Tubbo,

many of us continued to attend Van Halen shows to

see Eddie. The problem is that we never had access to the

band to voice our opinion on who we really wanted to

see fronting them. We continued to go to the shows to

see our guitar hero, but unfortunately cemented the

fat sandal wearing clowns position in the band by doing so.

So, they became Van Halen, when really they were just Eddie.

Many of us woke up and realized the truth, the remaining

Van Halen fans are the SHEEP.

I saw the 5150 tour to see Ed and out of curiosity

to see how they would do. I had a hint that it would

suck after the why can't this be love live video was

pulled after only a day or two.

I should have stayed away, I convinced a couple of

non Halen fan friends to go just to see Ed play.

The show was horrid, they spent most of the time

dancing in circles arm in arm like ring around the

fucking posey. And just like the vid that was pulled,

Sammy couldn't hit any of the high notes in Dreams

or WCTBL.

The EEAS tour blew it away and that was it for me.

five if we wait around for a classic reunion we will be going to watch 80yr old fuckers. they would have did this already. im sure they talked about it. and they just went the other way. if it was to go down dave would be on tour with the band now.

Dave fans, Classic Van Halen fans, and Van Hagar fans. that is three bands. I can like a little bit of everything. DAve shouldn't have bailed on them when he did. They have been on a downhill slide ever since. But whether the fans support them or not has nothing to do with a reunion. WE didn't ask them to split up. We didn't ask them to kick spam out the first time. We didn't ask them to get with Cherone, and had nothing to do with Cherone not working out. We didn't ask them to fuck shit up in 96, when they received an awesome reception for their brief reunion with Dave....and on and on. Anyone who believes Van Hagar is the reason there is no Van Halen is delussional. It is the same as saying you can blame any of Dave's other bands for preventing the reunion. Sorry. Van Hagar is not nor ever will be VAn Halen, and I believe you shoud accept no substitutes.. but damn, man, last chance to see Eddie Van Halen, I think I am gonna take it. HAVE FUN PLAYING DR. IN THE BURROUGHS DAVE. I MISS YOU.
