        True enough that ALAE sales weren't really inhibited by the grunge explosion. Hair metal record sales had been dwindling in the two years leading up to late 1991 anyway.

        Haven't seen a 'newly minted' copy of ALAE in any record stores in well over a decade.

                            I saw Dave on the ALAE tour in Middletown NY. He did Tell the Truth that night. He had on his pimp hat and just stood in the center of the stage facing the right side and sung the shit outta that song!! Amazing!! He never moved. Just killed on that number. Best number of the night.
                            I also LOVE Drop in the Bucket. And the line from Lady Luck...."Sometimes I Laugh to Win Cause He Who Laughs Lasts." Well I like the whole song... but that line is pure Dave.
                            I could go on.. but I gotta go drink in the new year. HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!!
