ALWAYS loved and respected AC/DC! I've always liked Bon better, but Brian has always rocked his ass off and given 100%. And with the original singer dead, what else could ya expect them to do but pick up and move on. And they have always treated the Bon material with respect and never considered it to be the BON ERA vs. the BRIAN ERA. Its al AC/FUCKING/DC!!!!! The band has sobered up and continue to rock on, something Shemp Van Halen and his crackhead sister Eddie refuse to do! FUCK the LYING DUTCHMEN!!!!!
As an AC/DC fan

never was a big fan of their music, I always found it to be so monotonous, song after song sounded the same excluding tempo, but some songs did indeed have a good rock vibe to it.
I would say the first six albums with Bon and then Back and Black and even "For those about to Rock" were up there with the best.
Methinks you havent listened to their original six albums. You listen to songs like, Ride on, She's got the Jack, Big Balls, Can I sit next to you girl, Let there be Rock, Hell aint a bad place to be. Thats straight off the top of my head and no two of those songs are the same.
Everybit as much variation as Van Halen..
I agree there was stage later with Brian where they released several very similar sounding albums in a row, but you cant generalize and say their whole catalog was like that. If you do, you havent heard it.BABY PANA 2 IS Coming !! All across the land, let the love and beer flow !
Love ya Mary Frances!Comment

No question older AC/DC was more varied...Powerage had a few new twist that fans didn't expect. Its my favorite AC/DC recording....and just about the least selling of the "Bon Era". But, just like Fair Warning", if you give it a few repeated listenings it will grow on you.Comment

Angus at 80 wearing a gorilla outfit in a wheelchair would be 1000 times cooler than faggot Spermy Gaybar in capri fag homo pants. Hopefully I will have the opportunity to throw a brick at his big friggin headComment

Anybody own 74 Jailbreak by AC/DC? There is a number on there, "BABY PLEASE DON"T GO" I think, that has a section in it that sounds starngely like the tapping section in Eurption. Same melody and all. Its not tapping, just Angus's patented pull offs, but it is strange to here non the less.Comment

I've seen AC/DC 3 times over the years, and they have NEVER failed to deliver! They even got Phil Rudd backon the skins! Its the classic line up (from 78-82). They play some new songs, but never forget what the FANS WANT TO HERE! Those guys are so fucking classy! Something the Van HAlen sisters know nothing about! ........Oh YEAH, AC/DC is NEVER GOING TO SLIP A "POWER BALLAD" INTO THEIR SET! THEY'VE STILL GOT BALLS 30+ YEARS ON!!!!!Comment

Angus and the boys found out about Brian Johnson because of Bonn Scott! Bonn came in raving about this guy singing Little Richard tunes the way it is supposed to be done. Brian has nothing but respect for Bonn, so there's the difference between AC/DC and Van Halen. Like EVH said right after they fired Sammy...Sammy had a second wife complex, and wanted to pretend the first wife never existed. I actually agreed with what EVH was saying.Comment
