DLR IS Van Halen period. The traveling Wilburys called VH have nothing to offer up except the Ghost of Rock N Roll....

VH, the dynasty that is, has only one king. What they did agter that was simply trade on the name to any simpleton who came (if you can understand that I'm insulting you , thats good, cause I am, but if not, thats ok too, your special).

What did they do post dave? Nothing? They released horrible ADULT albums that played with letters and numbers (5150-police code for criminally bad music).

The truth is we are watching the whole thing grind to a painful halt. The only person who can put that train back on the tracks is the Diamond One.

Much like seeing Apple Computers rise once again under Steve Jobs, VH is no different. It will happen cause it HAS to happen.

So its ED's surname, still doesnt change the fact that Dave named the band. Its always the standard line...."Whos the band named after?" David Lee Roth named the band, for Fucks sake, something he has said he never regretted. That brain surgeon Ed wanted to call it RAT SALAD....catchy, but it wouldn't have had the same effect. Roth was to short. Strange, because Dave is supposed to have this HUGE EGO. Right, like I've stated before, when Dave left in 1985 all but Shemp/Alex's drum roadie left with him. The road crew, the secretaries, the truck drivers, and the attorneys went with the Diamond one. So save the schtick that his ego drove him to a hasty and misguidged decison. It was the Van Halens substance abuse problems.....which 18 years down the road haven't gotten any better. Just ask Val how "TOGETHER" that crackhead Eddie is!
