Well it's very much true this tour isn't selling out every stop. Given the reports on the overall lack-luster sales for all touring acts this summer... it's not clear that the slump in sales is necessarily an indication of the popularity of the band or the effects of a less than great economy, high ticket prices, election year or war going on... take your pick?

As much as we would hope and believe the band would do better with Dave on the mic... I'm not convinced that's a good assumption either. There are just a popular acts touring w/ new albums and not filling seats either. I'd find more enjoyment in following the tour happenings if Dave were there... but that ain't happenin today. No need to waste the imagination...
