I think Trunk is cool and i look forward to his satelite radio show every week. If not for his show, i couldn't have given a shout out to The Roth Army. The few times i have called and been on the air, he treated me nice and was respectful. One time i even talked with him and Mike Piazza about Accept. I don't agree with a lot of his opinions especially when it comes to Hagar, but i love the fact that he interviews bands of our genre, a lot of which wouldn't have a vehicle to be heard otherwise. Say what you want about his support of Hagar, Kiss and UFO. However, don't forget that he held Dio on high and continues to promote the shit of the likes of Sabbath, Iron Maiden and Judas Priest. I loved the 80's and most of the hard rock that was created therein. Where else am i going to find out what is new with Crue and Ratt, have Halford call in and bullshit for awhile, and get killer tunes along the way? Lastly, he was talking about Tattoo and not passing judgement based on that track alone. Are there really people here who wonder how or why Trunk got to go to The Wha? show..?
Maybe because he is the host of the leading televised Music / Rock and Roll talk show going right now.
Or is it the only talk show about Rock and Roll ?
Should they have sent some more of The RA members,.. well, Hell Yeah! they should have..but all this -why Trunk?- just sounds stupid.
Maybe due to Trunks comments about VH and negativity, gave DDE and The Van Halen Machines, the oportunity to live review thier new tune and sound in front of what no-one would call a stacked deck of fans or editorial music writers.
