Listen to those '82-'84 Lisa Robinson interviews with Dave and it's like a boxing match ---- Lisa isn't afraid to call out Dave on what she perceives as bullshit, and Dave vigorously defends his statements.

That's how a REAL rock interview is supposed to be conducted. No compromise of your core values.

When I watch this Eddie Trunk interview ---- all I see is cowardice and apologism for a very mediocre musical artist.

I do not miss Michael Anthony because these songs are not built on constant harmonies to support the songs, these are more gang vocal oriented and get the hell out of my way songs which is a welcome change from the dreaded ballads of the Hagritte years.

Got to be honest I don't miss Anthony. As cool as it would be to have the original four but I don't think his participation isn't essential. DLR, Eddie & Al are the Van Halen sound. Besides, Wolf is really holding it down live singing and playing his ass off. VH is all over the media and they deserve all the praises cause they made a kick ass f'n record!

Looks like the Osbournes (or should I say Osbourne as in one... Sharon?) took over the Sirius Channel that Trunk's show was on, and kicked him off.
Now he's doing his show on the Hair Metal station.
'Ozzy's Boneyard' is now pretty much a 24hr Ozzy/Sabbath commercial... not 100% Ozzy/Sabbath content, they still play the standard Boneyard content, but now it's like a 75/25 split between Ozzy/Sabbath and other stuff.
I rarely use my satellite radio to listen to music, but it was kinda cool to hear 'Johnny Blade' and 'Sign Of The Southern Cross' back to back on Sunday Morning.
