They'll always do well because of Eddie. He's still in the band and he's one of the all time greats and people go to see him and hear the old stuff. The biggest cheers of the night always come when they do old VH (panama, ain't talking, jump etc.) It's all the groundwork Dave and the boys laid. Sam's just riding the coat tails of a legendary band he did nothing to create. Nothing they ever wrote with Sam and I mean nothing will ever be as popular as any of the the classic hits. Right now, come on, its a soda commercial. It's almost been reduced to a fucking jingle. The stuff they wrote with Sam sucks. Why do you think they sold more albums with Dave. Actually, my cousin is involved with one of the CCC offices and that's the word that's making the rounds, according to him...that's not official (yet), but he's in a position to hear people talking and the talk has not been positive.

Keeping my fingers crossed that it'll get an official announcement at tours end...but that probably won't happen unless VH says something negative about their promotion due to lack of tour revenue. If that's the case, CCC will strike back with something...
