7 pack...yeah, overall this album is better than Diver Down and about as good as II in my books. The recipe with 2 is pretty similar.
I love "Tattoo", but releasing it as the first single is a bit like releasing "Outta love" or "Bottoms Up" as the first single of VH II.Originally posted by Cato

No, it's the 4th incarnation of Van Halen. A new era, with a strong connection to the bands roots. For now it's a one-pack. Or rather, a bottle of fine vintage wine served in a shimmering new crystal carafe.Comment

I had myself an all VH listening session last night, And ADKOT fit in nicely. VH/VHII/WACF/FW/ADKOT. It just flowed right in there. It may even fit after the debut, The guys are on serious attack mode on both. I'm new here, So don't want to rock the boat, But it does fit in there somewhere.Comment

Perhaps my brain has been far too pickled this week to think of this earlier, but instead of referring to these great albums a the SEVEN PACK (which is sort of odd and ungainly), it would be far cooler to call them...

Just wondering last night if anyone here has hit the shuffle button and mixed up the 7-pack. Haven't tried it yet, but other than the obvious differences in sound quality, I have no doubt all 13 tracks will fit in seamless with anything recorded in the 78-84 era. Quite an achievement when you think about it - some kind of miracle really, considering this Van Halen we're talking about...
