Had to run into WalMart and pick up Valentine's Cards for the little ones to hand out in school next week (Angry Birds & Monster High). Walked over and noticed that this Walmart had all 3 editions of the new CD, but I didn't want to take a chance on what may have been a censored version of the disc. I went over to Best Buy and only saw the regular version on the rack. Then a nice young fellow saw me getting a little edgy and said 'Are you looking for the new Van Halen?", I said "yeah, but I need the deluxe version" and he said "Yeah, it's over here... I was looking for it myself"... so many thanks to that kid if he is a member here. So now with an honorable mention to Jimmy Iovine (Interscope Records/Beats Audio), I'll be spending the rest of the work day listening to the new CD with my Beats Pro High Performance Headphones. WalMart 24 hour SuperCenter here. Went in at 12:20 and again at 7:50....no new album. In fact, only 4 old VH cd's. Two VHI, 1 Best Of Vol 1, and 1 WACF. WHAT THE HELL!
You would think they would have at least stocked up a little bit on the 6 pack for people who might get interested buying the new album. dumb dumb dumb

1. I have determined that I will be the last person on this board to get ADKOT. Mine's being SHIPPED from Wally World since there are no super wallyworld's within a 2 hr driving distance. And I can't hook into the Itunes store. Yes I'm whining. Please feel sorry for me.

AV Club can have it's moments, and I actually enjoy some of the reviews on there, but, yes, they can be dead wrong on quite a few things due to the whole hipster persona there.
Like, back in 2001 per a review there, they ripped Daft Punk to shreds. Daft Punk, while not exactly main stream has proven them wrong, and has landed a lot of accolades for their music.
