I have been banned from there already, because I have called out so many baby/whiners on that site so many times. Nothing but a bunch of wannabe guitarists/musician types who don't know as much as they think they do.......I find it hilarious.......

I can always tell when it's a guitarist/musician guy who thinks he's a know it all..........the one thing that really cracks me up is how so many people are sooooooooooo critical of singers and live performances, but they really don't know that much about the human voice and what it physically takes to sing properly and how to utilize proper technique and even train yourself over the years. Funny. I enjoy the site to keep up on music news. but the self-important half wits are too much.

The first couple times I listened to ADKOT I said "wow this is awesome, almost as good as the six pack"

The next couple times I listened to ADKOT I said "wow this is awesome, probably the fourth best Van Halen album after Fair Warning, VHI, and 1984"

The last couple times I listened to ADKOT I said "wow this is awesome, in fact this may be the best Van Halen album ever"

Anyone else having a similar thought progression?

I had almost the same feeling the first time I listen to it, one song after every song... I even screamed when I Listened to Shes the Woman for the first time, that bass, that guitar... I agree with you... and ADKOT may be Van Halen's best album.

I really like the new album, don't get me wrong. But, I cannot understand

how anyone in their right mind can say it is better than VH 1.

The highest praise I can give an album is when I'm singing along to the words. Like ALL OF THEM. This coming from the guy who can't remember his own cell phone number or blood type. I don't go anywhere with a pen and a pad of sticky notes. ADKOT just came out - but the songs are so electric, and Dave's lyrics so catchy and passionate, that they have instantly become ingrained on my gray matter.
