Interesting cover art. Possibly some previous candidates for the album cover that were passed over for the train?

Kinda pisses me off. I already have 2 now I have to buy another one to get this. Then I have to get the record when it comes out.

Woah baby - me likey - and the day before Zing's b-day to boot! This might be an easier sell than trying to convince the wife to buy me the full vinyl.

It's a little more dynamic than the CD, but still quite a bit of compression happening.

I like having vinyl records for the physical product, the packaging and the ritual of throwing down a slab of wax and listening to full album in order, from start to finish. I'm not a big fan of the sound quality of vinyl if it's the exact same as the CD versions. Some people got to have vinyl for the sake of vinyl, even if it's not as clean as a CD, but I'm not like that. I'll pick whichever is the best-sounding version, in my opinion, and that is what lives on my iPod and gets listened to the most, in the car, on headphones, etc. And for me, the vinyl version of ADKOT is the definitive one to have. Even if you don't own a record player, there are digital rips of the vinyl to be had out there on the internets, that beat the CD.

By the way, the vinyl packaging is top-notch. Metal flake silver & gold printing and the front cover is embossed. Here's some pics I took of the record:

              What are the side listings?

In other words, what song does side A end with and what is lead song on Side B?

I always thought those two points are crucial.

That article didn't mention what was on the other side of this single. Think there's a snowball's chance in Hell of a non-album B side showing up?

(This would fit the UMG precedent set by the Stones when they released "Plundered My Soul" on a vinyl 45 b/w an outtake version of "All Down The Line" which was not included on the Exile remaster. Damn shame too, as it was a great version of the song, and not available elsewhere - including any previous bootlegs of that era.)

That's some tasty food for thought right there.

                        My gut reaction is:

                        Stay Frosty
                        Big River
                        Beats Workin'

But this could change with a little thought. And beer.

                          Honeybabysweetiedoll

Those latter two are the absolute gems of the album and the re-worked Bullethead sounds great.
