    Well it was the coolest Event I've ever been to & I had my own Mötley Crüe show in '97 with just the band 3 sound, 2 execs & me and friend. This was the best with all the memories of the glory day shows seen there including final LA show as the CVH group 2nd row center, limo & hottest blonde in Huuntington Beach....went out in style. I got phenom video but what peeps really care about is the set list. That I got and to not spoil all the fun I'll just say there are only 4 songs from new disc. Good news in late set we get Women in Love, Girl Gone Bad & Outta MFn Love Again, these 3 made me wood up, hell yes. Was at in Burbank tonight at Center Staging where rehearsals went on almost 2 weeks before Wed show, for a mini EVH gear party and A&R rep for EVH Mike and I talked long time while my Bro Joe worked the new 50 watt to hell, it sounds better than the 100w anyway. Still in the either from last two nights as the trucks should hit Ky mañana. All this VH magic is what Dr ordered as my family endures hell, the VH is best medicine under the circumstance. After Wed I can relax and stop sweating how I could pull off Ky, now there no need as to me it was the 1st show. It's 4am here got home hr ago, I couldn't post a pic right now if I tried....Glad you two were there, woulda been cool to say hey.....The sound & attitude of this tour makes 07/08 seem like a demo tour, honest to god Dave & Ed sounded 10x better than last week, where sound and performance was not close to Wed.

            Great reviews of the show - trying my damndest to walk the VH line between wanting/needing to know every last thing about their live shows and keeping a few surprises for when I see them on 5/19. Just like the snippets for every song that came out before the album dropped - it ain't easy...

                                            I have also kept snippets and show vids to a min.

                                            I had the CD/DVD by noon Tuesday and I took the plastic off and haven't cracked the case yet. I look at it on my desk like a bottle of Glenmorangie, waiting till it calls me. I am waiting to read all the worlds, this, that and the other, hear all the wanking by the worlds comments, soon I will play the thing and laugh at everyone coast to coast full speed across the nations, and have the last laugh while this music melts my mind.

                                                        I'm sorry but I respectfully disagree (and I HATE when I hear this)...

                                                        In the heyday, Dave may have never PERFORMED the songs the way they were on record all the time, but when he SANG he sounded good... whether doing a full verse, half a line, or a scream he still sounded good (see Hear About It Later '81 - not exact version of record, but sounded amazing)

                                                        There is a difference...

                                                        Now it seems he is struggling alot and for some Godforsaken reason singing the songs in a higher register than is needed...
                                                        It is both confusing and a bit frustrating, even sad... I just hope it is a temporary condition and he gets back to at least 07/08 vibe...
