That is like saying a truly great guitar player does not need to play a Les Paul. Or a truly great drummer does not need a crash cymbal. Or a truly great keyboard player does not need to play a synthesizer.

Yeah you could call it a stutter switch/button but a more accurate name is probably a momentary switch. It's a neat effect but I still like using the toggle on a Les Paul to do it.
