I have to agree. They will know pretty quickly whether it can work or not up to Dave's expectations. I wouldn't think they would go into it half ass. Nothing they have done thus far has been less than calculated. If Dave is using a headset for the first time in his career, which is something that has to feel unnatural to him, he probably has a good reason. I doubt it is for style and i doubt he is afraid of backlash from a handful of mullets.

Admittedly, David Lee Roth is the last guy I expected to wear the headset. But if Garth Brooks can pull it off and still put on one Hell of a show, then why can't Dave?
