The next Van Halen single will be released 2/27

They could pick any tune from the album as the next single and I'd be okay with it - the disk is that strong. If it were up to me, would I have picked 'She's The Woman'? Probably not. But nobody asked me if 'Tattoo' should be the first single, either. 'Blood And Fire' or 'You And Your Blues' seem like naturals - and 'Stay Frosty' and 'Big River' could easily be singles as well. Whatever. As long as the band and ADKOT are getting exposure, it's all good.

Dave's voice is terribly strained on this song and it ruins it. TERRIBLE choice.

China Town would have been a good choice. This song sounds like classic VH.

Well if "She's The Woman" is the next single, then the video better have a lot of half-naked chicks.

They can pull off a video while on tour.

I believe Panama was filmed early on into the 1984 tour.

All they have to do is film some live shots of the band playing in front of the crowd - film some 'rehearsal video shots' of the band on stage (Panama-style) - intermix that with clips of a hot chick in an apartment and voila! You have a video for "She's the Woman". :D

I think Blood and fire would be a better choice as a single. I would love to have TTWN as a single but I think Dave´s spoken word part disqualify it as it´s makes me wanna skip to the next song rigt there. On As Is on the other hand I think the spoken word part really fits, but then again that song ain’t got no sing along chorus as cool as it is.

Tattoo was a strategy thing releasing that early... but to really push album sales (if that is what VH want) they should put out the single "Blood & Fire" next. For other reasons too, B&F relates to non-VH fans much more than She's The Woman. I relate to She's Them Woman in more ways than one but they already have me as huge fan. Love the reference to shining pickup truck and it's a Chevy... which I own!!

I'd say She's The Woman is a good choice... Short, sweet and to the point. Plenty of punch for those fresh ears. I gotta believe Blood & Fire will be a single also, but it's got Summer written all over it! Top down, sun shinin' and VH cranked! There's several tracks that will be hits, and at this rate, all 13 will be singles by this time next year!

I knew this was gonna be the second single it was so obvious, VH plays it live since Cafe Wha show--- If the 3rd single is china town... I'll wait for a video... and i've got some cool ideas for that..

I think China Town, TTWN, and Blood and Fire will all be singles, as they all are / were on the setlist at one point.

I think Blood and Fire was dropped because Dave was struggling with it a bit at the pre tour show.

Hope it makes it's way back in.

I don't know. I tend to skip it 50% of the time playing the cd. That chorus just doesn't jive with me. Maybe it will with gen public. I'd choose As Is or Stay Frosty for the next single. Maybe not Stay Frosty cause the haters would just say....haha, re-done Ice Cream Man. No originality.
