Exactly! If you say one side is better than the other you fall into the trap they have carefully set up. That just sets off everyone arguing amongst each other and then they bring in a couple different flavors of Big Daddy to pacify the ruffled feathers. The solution is going on beyond the politics and exposing what funds that and makes it what it is. The politicians are just artificial punching bags or saviors. The parties for that matter.

The strategy is you start a bar fight and when everyone is tearing the place up, you steal the booze and cash register.

Don't I know it, brother. Ron Paul is the only politician that seems to get that, though. He IS a politician, however - so he obviously can't be trusted - but he's got more integrity than the rest on Capitol Hill put together...

I believe that but he's not accepted by EITHER major politcal party in the US and isn't part of the establishment. But being the best choice available isn't even enough against the machine obviously.

I mean, if you can't go to a Van Halen concert and have fun...that speaks more about the reviewer than it does Dave.

It's almost as if the guy is denigrating Dave because he expects Roth to have mellowed with age, and that for Roth to still be out there doing what he does with essentially the same attitude, swagger and confidence that he always exhibited is somehow embarrassing.

Strange...I wonder why the guy even wanted to go see Van Halen this time around. Seems like a waste of a ticket.

The fact is...the new album is superb. Those two shows at NY, were unbelievable. All the dribble from the mouth of a hack now is like someone shooting a bb gun at a Sherman Tank. Van Halen wins!....may the loser behave like losers and feel free to whine

Just out of coincidence I was playing around with a Sherman tank the other day. A guy here is restoring one and needed some volunteers to help. Not much on a tank that is light. I didn't know they had rotary engines like an airplane in them.
