Hey I like Dave to,but the truth is the truth!!Why is it that Roth fans just can't stand when you speak the truth about him.They believe only what they want to believe when comes to him.I'M NOT BASHING,just telling the truth.

A couple of reporters asked Ed about his hip?He answered,what was he s'pose to do, blow him off?Then Roth freaked on Ed!!!

Roth got a little corrupted by the sudden "attention" that was thrown on him.As you can see the rest of Van Halen ACTED VERY PROFESSIONAL,because they never left the spotlite.They knew how to handle it.Don't fault Ed for doing what any one of us would have done,answering a question about a major surgery.

To some Dave acted like an idiot. He acted like Dave...if you think Dave is an idiot, then that is what he acted like. The audience gave a ridiculous standing ovation, because they like that "idiot." Truth be told, the night was about Dave. It wasn't like Ed, Al or Mike had done anything different, the fans had seen Van Hagar, but DLR was back and that is what it was about. I like Beck, but of course he was overshadowed. if VH all stood there quietly he still would have been overshadowed. Fuck the lying dutchman.

Ed didn't lie about anything!They told Dave from the begining that it was only gonna' be 2 songs.They never gave Dave anything to sign about a reunion.Dave just "assumed' so.

If that night was just about Dave,there wouldn't have been a standing ovation.
I wanted to see the tour as much as ANYBODY!!I was pissed at all of them!!Including ED!!Why couldn't Roth just act like a normal person for 3 seconds.How are they s'pose to live with that dude on tour.Just remember this:

If the material VH has put out since Dave's departure is any PROOF that they don't need Dave, well, that's really sad... Maybe you like songs about "love", and "aliens", but I ain't gonna let it fuckin' SLIDE.
AND you don't ask DLR to go out onstage and act like "a normal person for 3 seconds". Dave is Dave, he's hyper, full-of-energy, and ready to ROCK... If he was a normal guy then he wouldn't be that memorable, just like all the new rock bands today... they're ALL regular guys, and we'll forget them in 5 minutes. ROTH needs Van Halen period.The fact that they had 5 #1 records without him says so.I mean the masses that bought Roth with Van Halen didn't follow him solo.He had his shot to prove over and over again who was the real talent and driving force of Van Halen.He lost.Numbers speak for themselves.Roth had to cancel at least 2 tours after V.H. due to lack of ticket sales.Van Halen never had to.The people spoke.You might hate him,but Sam does have a pretty big fan base.All those records didn't go #1 BECAUSE THEY SUCKED!

But they didn't go Number 1 because of sam, they started scanning album sales a new way, therefor the number 1 albums. 1984 would have been a number 1 album but thriller was out at the same time. It did outsell thiller some weeks. van halen has only 1 number 1 song EVER. JUMP. Dave wanted to run trough some old vh songs to get his voice back but ed said (No Fucking Way) were not going back we have to take baby steps foward. Hmmm then why go back to Dave in the first place?
