I hope he doesn't say shit about Sammy. I love how the only way Hagar can get any press for his band is to talk shit about Van Halen and they just completely ignore him.
Actually, I don't know that I really care all that much about a new interview with Ed. I think he's pretty much saying all he needs to say on the stage.Roth Army Icon

I just want to hear a little love for Dave come through. Just to ease our minds that they are getting along and perhaps will add more dates overseas to this tour. We all know he is having a lot of fun out there on stage, but would be nice to hear him actually say so.“Great losses often bring only a numb shock. To truly plunge a victim into misery, you must overwhelm him with many small sufferings.”Comment

Agree - best thing he can do is ignore Spam completely. Ed can get in trouble - even with his new found sobriety - if he speaks in a true interview situation. I would guess this arrangement with Esquire would have the questions well in advance - and the answers pre-approved.My karma just ran over your dogma.Comment

those selfmade interviews are fantastic...I hope they keep them coming...I can sit and watch them talking about the old times for hours...
and yes...sam desperately waits for being mentioned either way...just ignore him...everytime they laugh about the tour bus, the motown deals and whathaveyou I hear Dave say "then I will look at sam and say, you weren't there..."Roth Army Icon

I suppose the Esquire interview has the potential to ask different questions than the usual GW prattle, and Ed might actually provide answers that don't involve plugging his latest bits of gear.
Would prefer a Roth interview far as non-guitar mags go, to be honest.Scramby eggs and bacon.Comment
