yep...lots of great guitar players who never hit it big...evh and avh are too 'pretentious' to me...they could book a tour with just ed, al, and wolfgang and see how many tickets they sell. it'll be considerably less than they're makin with Dave...

Let's be honest. We aren't exactly dealing with sane people here. The last tour was a success because it had almost all the original members and they played fabulous. End of story. The thing is, it's an insane disfunctional band. If they can get it together and fire on all cylinders it's great. Just don't plan on it being a long-term thing.

Talent is great but unless you have artists that get the big picture they always become the demise of the band. So true with Van Halen.
