After putting out an embarrassing amount of money for Roger Waters tickets on July 7th, there was no way I'd be able to hit the proposed show at the Izod Center on 7/15... especially after seeing them a few months ago. I think it was good business to take the summer off.

Seen it in chi-town back in sept, 2010 great show the money well spent.

True enough. At this point, you never DO fucking know with these guys. Gotta get it while you can.

Don't think it's necessarily untrue or anything to be wary of admitting in terms of the band just wanting to pace themselves. Maybe they could have continued on and played those now postponed dates, but knew they'd be burnt, on autopilot and phoning it in. I mean, shit, if the band are making the effort and coming up short due to whatever (age, health, etc.), that's one thing. For them to go out there and wearily play-by-numbers...fuck, I'd rather not see 'em at all than see that transpire.
