                I've never understood this Super Bowl fascination. Who cares. The VH fanbase is pretty much set in stone, other than maybe teenagers just finding out about good music.

                    I'll tell you what it is that no one ever seems to mention. It's a pro shot mini concert with Dave and Ed together on our flat screen TV's while we're all getting drunk, eating lots of good food and screaming "Fuck YEAH!!! Now THAT'S what I'm TALKIN ABOUT!!!!" So to everyone whining that it'll just be a few songs everyone in the world knows and it's no big deal, go hang out at Crowbar's house and ask him to tell you what seeing them in the late 70's was really like and drool on his shoes. I'll take the Superbowl with VH finally, thank you.

                        OK, that's definitely one of the better arguments I've seen for it. I just don't care either way. If they do it great, if they don't do it that's fine too. It's simply not something that crosses my mind in terms of what I'd like to see the band do going forward.

                            It'd be nice to see, to be sure, and I'd love to see them get that kind of long overdue mainstream exposure.... but I too won't be bent if it doesn't happen.

                                Don't get me wrong, I could live without it too, but they would tear it up and it would be a great production I'm sure. When we flash forward 7 or 8 months from now, people will be amped for it, if it's set in stone.
