Look, their non-broadcasted infighting lead to the creation of great music and art. The slinging mud for all to see and hear was what they did upon their parting. Some of what he's saying is in jest, but as ZahZoo said, there's a bit of defensiveness in the delivery. All I can say anymore is that the Van Halen's silence speaks volumes at the moment.

Dave is going to say he invented the sunshine and DAMMIT you are going to have to prove him wrong.

It is when people actually believe he invented it that things can get out of hand.

I find it quite silly that you would think Ed or that 5150 is worried about such claims to fame.

I believe you may be a guitarist and are worried that somehow DLR is removing the importance of Ed's contibution to the band and that the rest of the world doesn't get it.

We get it, I can feel it, Japan is going to feel it soon enough and a great time was had by all.
