He produced a single or two for Zappa's kids. My Mother is a Space Cadet was one of them.
Not sure if he played on any of it though.
He wrote the riff for Evil Eye but he's not playing lead on it.

Ed's solo on Star Fleet is ferocious.

audio is tragic on this. This one is on the That's all Folks boot, which also has 79th and Sunset.

I used to subscribe to Guitar Player magazine in the day. There was an article on Ed and he talked about recording some tracks with Brian May. It was called the Star Fleet Project because the main song was from a british TV show called Star Fleet. We lived in a fairly small ski resort town but we were lucky enough to have a real good old school record store with the drug paraphanalia and the stoner behind the counter and all that. Luck would have it, they had the Star Fleet album and I bought it.

Here it is. The whole Wild Life movie Eddie did the music for.

You can pick out the riffs that turned into tunes but beyond that there's some really tasty clean stuff going on if even for a couple seconds at a time.

Hope you enjoy. Still not released on DVD due to some copyright issues.

I don't mind Gary. In Extreme. He should just stay in Extreme. I like Extreme. I have absolutely no problems with him. It's Ed that keeps screwing things up. See, even when Hagar is out of the picture, he'll still find someone beige to try to replace Dave.

That's why I never really hated Sam as much as Ed. Cause if Sammy hadn't taken Daves place, some other sucker would. It's really in Eds hands.
