Think of all those Stones albums and singles from the early-to-mid 70s that won Grammys ... oh, wait a minute, they never won any when they were producing their best and most timeless work.

Despite being widely acclaimed as The Greatest R&R Band in the World.

The Black Keys? They are okay, but critics and awards committees sure are suckers for anything that is basically a rehash of what they think is 'authentic'. i.e. white dudes pretending they are playing R'n'B / Blues. There is zero that is original about those two guys.
