Yup...people need to clarify. Ed pre-Van Hagar(as in THE MIGHTY VAN HALEN) was the greatest guitarist in the world. Post-1985=pop rock power ballad HACK!!! His playing on the six pack inspired an entire generation to pick up a guitar. Now, his playing is a source of embaressement and fustration!
