    And c'mon, the only people in that audience who knew something like 'Pretty Woman' was a Van Halen tune are the die-hard fans. Within the context of Diver Down, yeah, I like it fine, I can take it - but let's face it, compared to Roy Orbison's original it's never gonna be the best version.

    I would happily never listen to Pretty Woman again but the fact is that it is the 2nd highest charting Van Halen song ever and in the top 5 even if you include the cheesy Van Hagar era.

    We're stuck with it.

                                Watching the whole thing in context, it's not bad at all....this version doesn't make me wanna shoot the sound guy any LESS, but overall pretty damn cool...

                                    Having viewed almost nineteen minutes of the clip, I will say that some of my comments were a bit harsh...

                                    Dave is marginally better vocal-wise, but the cringe yelps are a-plenty...

                                    But he does look good and I like the orange mic stand...
