I could live without this Jim Florentine guy sounding like he knows everything.

Plus he's got maybe the most annoying voice I've ever heard come out of a man.

I had the misfortune to listen to his podcasts on the Cafe Wha gig.

It's not a great sign when it is introduced by highlight clips of his stand up which are less funny than taking your dying family pet to the veterinarian.

You have to be quick witted and at least pretty smart to be a good stand up. From what I heard of him he is over achieving spectacularly even having a mediocre career.

I hope it ain't Wembley Arena, Donnie - every gig I have seen there sounded pretty bad.

I have said before that with limited drawing power in the UK they would be good in the Albert Hall. I dunno ... it holds maybe 4000, but you get a sense of it being much bigger. Do five nights, or a week - make it an event, a residency for a week, and people will travel to see multiple nights. It's a venue made for music. That would mean something to Ed, maybe - site of Cream's famous last gig.

I was listening to this interview on my way to work, in my new car. BOO-YAH! Well of course it's just a 2013 Hyundai Accent, nothing to brag about. But the free-trial of XM-Sirius radio is pretty sweet. The Stern channel was not included, but who gives a flying fuck about him today anyway. It would be nice though if =VH= had its own channel, being that the Grateful Dead, Ozzy, the E Street Band, Elvis and Sinatra, have their own channels as well.

One thing I'm glad about during this interview was the fact that I didn't have to hear Adam Carolla's annoying fuckin' voice.
