does anyone think not only is edward in the alcholol bad but maybe using cocaine? how does one look so emaciated and maintain it. hell you would think he would put on weight from eating a french fry.

Well its obvious that roys' not doin any blow, but as for ed he has always been skinny.any way it did used to be about sex drugs and r&r.
Hopefully we havent' all grown up too much where we cant' enjoy some good partying. -
Ed isn't into blow. He's a classic alcoholic. Let me expand on my view:
The sugar in alcohol causes a hypoglycemic reaction.
That screaming urge for any super-refined carbohydrate, in this case alcohol. Your entire body screams to have IT. And no addict can resist this 24 hours a day. He goes and has it. The end result HYPOGLYCEMIA, a word which literally means too little sugar in the blood, ('Hypo' meaning too little, 'Glycemia' referring to sugar or Glucose.) If you regularly experience cravings to LIFT your blood sugar with alcohol and then, when you do it, a half hour later have another severe drop in blood sugar, and a sharp hunger in your sternum area, happening very quickly after using that high carb food, or in this case, beverage, with resulting spaciness, muscular weakness, making you CRAVE alcohol again, you should suspect this low blood sugar condition to exist. (hear me out)
The condition comes from the pancreas OVERREACTING to sugars. Sugar in alcohol is the exacerbating factor. Pointing out these toxic states is relevant to the alcoholic's predicament because feeling achy tired and toxic contributes to the desire for mood-changing substances like acohol. The body becomes wrinkled without sun or age, you become weak looking, swollen, your pancreas becomes enflamed and YOU LOOK LIKE YOUR starving.Comment

He's def. not skinny because he's an alcoholic. Look at pics of him after about 1986, he started getting bloated from alcohol abuse.He def. was a coke head in the DLR era. He was skinny and ripped. When VH III came out, he was back to being skinny and ripped again. I probably figured he kicked alcohol and probably started working out. MAybe he got fat when Hagar was in the band because they went to buffets together. LOLComment
