since no one here really has anything to add to the original post (because none of you have ever spent time with any VH members), here's a true story:
ed did so much blow with me, jerry cant-(say no)-rel and our galpals back in '93 (? '94?) while he was visiting Jerry in Seattle, it was BEYOND ridiculous. Jerry had a limo pick us all up for a little nite-on-the-town. after dinner and before we hit The Rendezvous, EVH was so blownout/drunk, he could hardly talk (not that anything of interest ever came out of his stinky, yellow mouth anyway). he was loud, stupid and kept asking Jerry for "more white, man!" AND -- he kept hitting on my girlfiend ... i honestly wanted to PUNCH the little fuckin "guitar god".
but, EVH was Jerry's guest/pal ... so, i remained coolish. however -- i could not resist asking him about Dave and the good ol' days when VH was Mighty. that annoyed him, but ... whatever. i *did* guess what WDFA stood for and i found out what (he thought) Valerie did well in bed, among other things. that nite, i realized: EVH actually has the mental-capacity and sophistication of a 14 yr. old boy. i am dropdead serious. he never had to progress past that, thanks to fame & fortune at an early age.
no wonder he and Roth hated each other. i hated EVH before the nite was thru, myself. my opinion was forever changed. and, it went further than that ...
but, that's a whole nuther tale (tail?), for a whole nuther gang of folks.
you guys can go back to insulting each other's mothers and sexual proclivities now.Comment

I feel sorry for Matt Bruck, 'cause its only a matter of time that freak EVH turns on him.
