You are right. I don't. I wanted to hear how crappy Ed is playing on this tour, and then I heard that fucking screeching. For a minute there, I thought there was something wrong with the download, and then I realized it was Hagar's voice.

No, I deleted that motherfucker as soon as I heard it the first time.

No money from me. I refuse to see Ed on tour again, and I also refuse to buy future product. In effect, I've boycotted them until Dave comes back. If he doesn't, no sweat for me, I've got the six pack to listen to. Either way, they lose.

Their new greatest hits could have been #1, but they didn't listen to what the majority of their fans wanted: a reunion with Diamond Dave. They have, I fear, permanently disgruntled a majority of their fans.

Too bad.

I loved Van Halen with With Roth. I have the six pack too, but it isnt the same. I dont think Roth can pull it off without looking like a cheese head. I dont think his vocal abilty is there either, it never was it just worked well at the time.

I got to go with Sam. He is a team player and anyone getting my fav rythem section on the road is ok in my book.

After 1996, I was pissed. I initially blamed Roth, but then after hearing his story in his book, and hearing Ed and Al on MTV, etc., plus Hagar's testimony, I knew that it was Ed, Al, and Danniels that were behind all the shenanigans. Then in 1998, Ed gets Gary and says, 'he's in for life'. THEN, Ed and Dave work together in 2000, working on several tunes. Ed later says the 'lawyers' got involved. Then we wait for four fucking years for some word, until this tour and greatest hits set. The tour is anti-climactic, with Hagar coming back. It's not a fucking reunion tour, Hagar was in until '96 (and said he wouldn't come back as late as 2002, by the way). It's a money grab tour. Ed said he would never go out and tour like KISS does (for the money). It appears that this tour is all about nothing but the money. I don't know why Dave would ever come back, but he would, I believe. But not without bringing his lawyers with him, and Ed just won't stand for that. So no classic reunion. Damn shame.

And you were gone for a few days after that. And many of the posters after seemed to agree. It isn't only me that thinks you've bashed the shit out of him.
