So funny. And original. You need to stop, your rapier ( go ahead, look it up, we'll wait) wit is too sophisticated for this crowd.

By all means, stick around and weigh in on any of the 9 million non-Dave related threads this "place of worship" has to offer.
And I get that you love old Dave and new Dave and will love future Dave. It is the diversity of threads at this site that are interesting. So many ways to say, "At his worst, Dave is a better performer than ANYONE! Just open the vailts, I'll settle for 3 new songs, play Drop Dead Legs, I'm just like Dave because I call bass player 'bass player'". If some of you had seen VH before 1985 you'd probably be less angry.

Is there a point to all this?

        Okay?

Then chime the fuck in already. Are we not worthy of a discussion with you on another topic?

I'll look up the word "rapier" if you promise to look up what a sentence fragment is...

Oh, is that irony you are attempting to employ? Maybe it would work a tad better if you didn't come across as such a boring, agenda-trolling douche...

Yeah, real incompetent (as far as newer bands go)...
Why settle for something you have, if it's not as good as something you're out to get?

Yes, it was mixed and edited by Jimi and Eddie Kramer.

Think about it. He keeps Mike thoroughly involved in his projects and the brothers would never consider a suggestion from Sammy as a way to go.
Nah. I don't think Mike working with Hagar now is what is killing Anthony's chances of rejoining Van Halen. Lest we forget, the Van Halens were all too happy to tour with Hagar in 2004 without Anthony being involved at all. Anthony only came aboard for that tour because Hagar insisted he be there.

What it'll take now for Anthony to be asked back is the same thing it took for Roth to be asked back in 2006, which is Wolfgang setting his father straight as to what the fans would like to see.

It'll be a bit more complicated than Roth in 2006, because in an Anthony scenario Wolfgang will obviously have to stop playing with the band, and frankly the ultimate reason Van Halen has continued to play for the last 7 years or so is because Ed likes being in a band with his kid. And this isn't a bad thing in the respect that I think Ed finally got himself clean in part because he loves his son and loves playing in a band with him.

It would be great to Mike back in the fold but I don't see that happening. Wolf seems to be pretty involved with the Tremonti project so who knows. Wasn't it around December when they announced the last album/tour?
