You guys are depressing...Look I know what I am hearing....RWTD is good, not nearly as good as it can be though. Panama not very good at all. I still say 7 or 8 songs from this performance will be ones I play regularly.

If you play 7 or 8 songs from this regularly, you're tone deaf.

Diehards fill casinos and clubs. Average fans fill arenas. I don't see Ed & Al playing clubs. I don't think more than 6 or 7 songs on that show that sound like a powerful Van Halen. I burned it too a disk and didn't get through the whole thing with my eyes on it. The first 5 songs on my Baltimore 08 blow this show away !! It is what it is. A bad idea. I will buy it and burn those 6 or 7 songs on one disk and enjoy it that way.

I've stayed quiet all day, mostly 'cause of work, but also because like you said, I want to at least wait until I hear all of it....

I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt, at least until I hear the whole thing, anyway....

No offense, but saying something is good but not nearly as good as it can be isn't really a ringing endorsement lol. I hope everybody that buys this record enjoys it. But they ain't getting my cash for this terd.

Bottom line is this thing isn't going too make a greatest live album of all time list. I don't care if it's not fixed. Fix it ! A 1981 show would. Not fixed drunk and sloppy !!

Van Halen is counting on a lot of people to settle, like you and Flamma are willing to do. But they are going to be surprised when a whole ton of their most diehard fans, don't settle, or show up to the shows.

They better do a very limited tour this summer, or it ain't going to last.

I'm not sure if this album will affect live ticket sales very much. It won't help them but ADKOT was reviewed across the board as a 4* album and a good effort yet how much airplay did it get? This album will get a few plays and a little negative comments but will be quickly forgotten. Roth having a bad tour after carrying the first one is common knowledge to anyone that checked YouTube never mind fan sites. That's why this album is a mistake because they had two options that could build them up or at least keep them at the same level - ADKOT follow up or old live material.

If you don't think this is going to affect live ticket sales, you are nuts. Especially if they try to do a full tour. I'm telling you right now, it's affecting one ticket sale. Mine. I bet there are a whole bunch of people that are a lot less of a fan than I am, that will feel the same way.

To fill arenas you need the less than diehard fans and when it comes to finding $300 and a babysitter to see the same show again when there is evidence it won't be as good as last time they could struggle.

They would be better playing smaller venues with deeper cuts but despite what he likes to project Eddie is not all about the music, he hasn't been for a long time. If it doesn't make money he's not that interested.

Well 3 and they picked the wrong one.

Problem was that one involved a lot of work and the other blanking Wolfgang.

Actually I guess there was a 4th cop out option where they did a Best of Both old and new with classic stuff from back in the day and new live versions from ADKOT.

If I was managing them I would have tried for that...

Oh I'm not settling. I will buy it and burn what sounds good on one c.d. I mean I'm sure it will sound o.k. So I'll make the best of it. When I'm 65 maybe that 81 release will come out !

Man. The Van Halen fanbase are a bunch of bitches. I'm ashamed.... The worst that will happen is Van Halen will say fuck you we are still millions of dollars richer than you and will go out and people will love it anyway. Or they'll say we're done, no one cares about the band anymore ungrateful fans. And to that I say fuck you all (the negative ones), if that ever happens I'll be pissed....then again neither would happen and they won't even care haha.

Still, disappointed in the VH fanbase, it baffles me why in the internet world everyone assumes they have authority to comment and rag on stuff if they don't like it. Directly I'm talking, not just discussing how shit you think it is with your mates that's always been around, but directly on the bandpage and youtube etc, someone from the camp/or artist will obviously see it (wolfgang, PR, webmasters etc who probably pass it on to the band). Pisses me off. It's like going up to someone and saying fuck you're ugly, or going up to a singer and saying you suck, or man you're kid sucks ass he's fat as fuck. People (the majority) just don't do that in the real world. It's just such a dick thing to do. I mean wtf!, why can't people just be nice? haha. If you don't like it, just move on and listen to something else instead of being a rude, disrespectful asshole. The internet world has brought out the asshole in everyone, big, prolapsed, ugly and shitty.

End of the day it's their band, they do what they want. They've worked their asses off for us and we've paid them for their work. They don't owe us shit. That said it'd be a nice gesture to the fans to have a modern blu-ray and some classic shows haha. Rant over.
