I made a thread about that album over 2 years ago. It ain't a rumor. But I agree with your thoughts on this. Maybe a Van Hagar reunion would provoke Dave to get off his ass, and release this album.

We might be able to predict his quotes, but we sure the hell cannot predict where Dave shows up. He is going to show up at Ice Station Zebra with midgets pulling a sled and shit which is more probable or even in Russia selling illegal art. And on cue, the Diamond One will release some of his best shit when no one is paying attention because everybody in this band operates this way. I mean this LP will be full of pussy, angst and bravado... everything the new Van Hagar will not have in spades, he will even have a lot of fucking hair with his old scream back in place lol

And he will be spotted with a hot butch chick which will make some question if he is gay, but you will get the part about his tan right

Let's face it, and I'm sure I've said it before, but outside of your hardcore Van Hagarita fans, there is a certain section of the concert ticket-buying public that would attend Van Bette...

You know, the 40'ish soccer mom and her buddies drinking wine coolers out in the lawn, passively listening to the lame-ass power Van Bette power ballads for two hours....

Not to mention, there will surely be many VH fans that will attend the show simply to get another chance to watch Edward Lodewijk Van Halen live....

Now having said that, there is absolutely no way that Van Velveeta will pack any arenas nor ampitheaters, outside of the regularly well-selling cities, i.e. St. Louis, NYC, LA, etc....

So if you're one of those who chastized VH for having shows on Groupon this last go-round, wait until you see the discounts that Van Bette throws out there....
