Where do we go from here?

Well, it's obvious the VH sisters are stick'n with Sammy. Will they do another record with him or not is anyone's guess, but the fact that they don't want Dave back is OBVIOUS.

So...where does that leave us?

Do we continue fighting the good fight or do we pack up and leave? The problem I have is that out of all the new bands, there really isn't anything to get excited over. Eddie is the last the guitar heros. Dave was the last of the kick ass front men. So where do we go from here?

The reason why I ask this is because at one point we're gonna have to give up the hope. Are we waiting for Eddie and Alex to publicly spit in our & Dave's face the day they get inducted to the R&R Hall of fame?

Have we perhaps gotten stuck to this band as a result of bad music these days or perhaps we're old people. I mean, let's face it, we're not 20 anymore. Much like BabyBoomers, we're stuck on VH as they were with the Beatles. Our Ed Sullivan moment was back in 83 when VH took the stage at the US Festival. Our big break up came in 85 and our Beatle reunion just never happen. Yet the boomers will swear that the Beatles were the best band that walked the earth. Are they? I love them, but folks....it's time to let go.

just add another year to the LONG WAIT. They have tried publicly twice, who knows if there have been unpublicized attempts. I hope they try again... but you may be right in the fact that they have become our generations Beatles... and although we all may have aged abit, I dont think anybody would have a problem "turning 18 again" if the BOYS hit the stage!!!

van hagar doing a "new" record...fine...can somebody tell me something more irrelevant? this band has become a dime in a dozen...and I'm up to the point where I doubt that even dave could save their asses anymore...

I'd like to see them together if their too old too fight anymore...maybe playing some accoustic blues gigs in small clubs...but ed will die before, alex won't enter the stage with dave again and dave will still be out there kicking ass...
